Meet Ryan Farr.

This is Ryan Farr. I met him at Isaiah Davies' wedding reception on March 19. He became friends with Isaiah when they were in elders quorum together in their singles ward. Isaiah introduced him to Whitney and they all became great friends. When I broke up with old bf Whitney told me she had a friend named Ryan that I should meet. She said she thought I'd like him. Months went by and I thought nothing of it. The night of the reception Whit was sitting by me. She saw him sitting with his sister, so she told them to come sit by us. When he sat down I said nothing to him because I thought his sister was his wife. Eventually I told him I liked his tie. Then I found out his sister was not his wife. We began talking. He was fun to talk to. We (Whitney, Ryan and I) left the reception and went to hang out. We went to get burgers and I dripped hamburger crap all over my face, hands and arms, and the table. He still thought I was cute. We wanted to go bowling but couldn't find the bowling alley he was talking about. We then wanted to watch a movie. Whitney's family was already watching one at her house. The DVD player at my parents house wouldn't work. We sat for hours just talking. He added me as a friend on facebook the next day.

Two weeks later I went on a date with some guy. I got home and had a missed call from Ryan Farr. He was with Whitney and she gave him my number. He said on the message, "I know you're already on a date with another guy, but I just ask that you don't fall madly in love with him because I want a chance." I was sold. A week later we went on a date. It was the first genuine smile I'd had on my face in months. We've been going on dates since then, and I still have that same smile on my face. I'm so glad that he's my boyfriend. And I'm so glad that my Heavenly Father knows my heart, has a plan for me, and that He put Ryan in my life at the time I needed him most. Thank you Ryan, for making me feel happy again.
